Brothers I am
pleased to announce that on last week our great Georgia District Director,
Brother Ronald Natson, named me as the new Georgia District Area 2 Director.
Due to the growth and size of the North Georgia Cluster, our District Director
has realigned Areas 2 and 10. Below you will see the new alignment for Area 2:

I am honored, humbled and excited about this new
opportunity to serve our BELOVED Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. of which I have
been a member since April 5, 1986. To know that our District Director has
placed this much faith in my leadership ability is very humbling. I want to
thank all of the Brothers of Nu Mu Lambda who supported my Chapter Presidency
because without your support, I would not have been a candidate for this
position. I WILL SERVE AREA 2 WITH MY PASSION AND
VISION FOR ALPHA AS I DID AS YOUR CHAPTER PRESIDENT!
Recognizing that Area
2 is large and diverse, I knew that I would need some help. To this end I have
made the following appointments:
1. Brother
Everett Patrick will serve as Special Assistant to the Area 2 Director.
2. Brother
Greg Bailey who reclaimed me five years ago, will serve as Senior Advisor to
the Area 2 Director.
Brothers I
am also pleased to announce the dates for our Fall Intake:
November
13th and 14th - Leadership Weekend
November 20th and 21st - Membership Weekend
As you are aware, the North Georgia Cluster is the
largest Intake Cluster in the nation in our beloved Fraternity. As a result,
our District Director has received permission to split the North Georgia
Cluster for effiency. Brother Natson has
informed me that we will not split the North Georgia Cluster for Intake in the
Fall. The plan is to split the Cluster in the Spring of 2010.
Finally, I have served you as Director of
Educational Activities, Chapter Vice-President, Chapter President and I look
forward to now serving you as your new Area 2 Director.
