Brothers this is my
last memo to you as Chapter President. I want to thank each of you for working
so hard as we competed for the 2009 National Alumni Chapter of the Year in New
Orleans. We came within 3points of bringing that Award back to Decatur. Congratulations to
our Brothers from the Bahamas for earning 3 more points than NML. We did not
lose. We were simply outscored. Brother
Hightower thank you to you and your committee for having our display ready. In
my opinion our display was excellent.

let us join in a collective spirit behind the new administration led by
President-Elect Andre Prospere and finish the Award trifecta next year. Remember that for the 2010 District
Competition we can use our entire body of work from FEB '09 to December 31st of
'09. For the 2010 Regional Competition we can use our entire body of work from
April '09 to December 31st of '09. I know that the new administration will
increase our body of work from September '09-December '09 to go with our
present competition eligible body of work from the current Fraternal Year.
I want to thank each
of you for supporting my Presidency and Administration. We had a great run
together and our Chapter is once again a National force in Alpha! We collected
more Chapter only and individual awards over the last two years than we did in
the last six years combined. Here is our Award review from the outgoing
