Burrell Announces His Candidacy for District 3 |
About Jermaine Burrell A native of Mobile and the Maysville
Community, Jermaine A. Burrell is devoted to the citizens and the communities
of District 3. Burrell’s passion for public service stems from the testimonies of his personal life. He was raised
by his mother and the strong will and stern guidance of his Grandmother who
instilled in him the foundations of hard work, persistence, and tenacity. She
utilized government assisted programs to help make ends meet and to ensure he was afforded the opportunities
that would enable him to live up to his full potential. Burrell’s mother
raised him and his sister as a single mother in the RV Taylor Plaza Housing
Projects before moving onto the Section 8 Housing Program. Burrell’s father
was incarcerated for most of his childhood life and now works as a Welder at a local shipyard. |
