Brothers,
We
are now 28 days away from the 103rd Anniversary Convention of our
beloved fraternity. I am pleased to announce the second of our three
symposiums. The
Jewel Henry Arthur Callis Health and Wellness Symposium will address
issues affecting the health of African-American men. Committee Chair Brother
Dr. Michael Smith and his committee have worked hard to organize an engaging symposium and health fair with some of the nation's leading specialist,
all of whom are members of the fraternity.
We
look forward to your attending this important symposium on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
On Saturday morning, the fraternity will go out into the New Orleans
community and host a Health Fair on the campus of Xavier University.
Travel
safely! We will see you in New Orleans in a few weeks. Remember that a
"healthy Alpha is a productive Alpha."
